This dose exactly what it states it will do. It real nice for the price and even compared to more expensive ones they have nothing on it. On the high setting it dose not get real hot, that would be my one criticism if i were to make one.
I hope never to use this product, but it is good to have in a state with a lot of lakes, ponds and bogs around twisting country roads and no street lights. Product fits nicely in door pocket, is sturdy and light weight. Handle grips well and would be easy to use in an emergency.
It's alright. I wish it would heat up faster. However, even when it isn't heating at all, the material feels warmer to my bum on a cold morning than the actual car seat, so there's a plus. I hate how poorly it stays in place. It should have a rubberized or sticky backside so I wouldn't have to battle each time I get into the car to avoid it sliding over. Yes it has straps, but they are weak.
Several of the Xantrex inverters including this one have much looser frequency specs compared to the last generation of inverters which were typically 60 Hz +/- 0.01%. Many of the current crop of these inverters have 60 +/-4 Hz which is 60 Hz +/- 7%. To be fair, I've noticed a number of inverters made by other companies also have relaxed this spec. I measured the output frequency of several models and found their outputs to range from 58 Hz to 64 Hz. I didn't test to see if the frequency changed with temperature, input voltage, load, or other other factors. I suppose the reason for this change in specs is that these manufacturers are now cost cutting to the extent of eliminating a 30 cent quartz crystal. The frequency variation is most likely to cause problems (speed changes and overheating) in devices with AC motors, but it will also cause inaccuracies in devices that use the AC line frequency for timing purposes.
I received this about a month ago, and it has been a life saver. I have chronic pain in my back, and car rides are awful for me. This last weekend I went to Kansas City, MO (from South Dakota) and had very little trouble on the car ride. I know it is because I was able to use my heating pad in the car! I love this produce and would recommend it to anyone.
I was impressed by the remote control feature and hence bought this however found the audio cable lose ... it also has bad quality sound. I could not fix the audio cable problem - the return shipping cost was equal to actual cost hence dropped the idea of return!
I used the entire thing in my Lancer GT 08 (doors & trunk) Its just about enough since its not a really big car. Simply put, this product does exactly what it says! No more rattles, no vibrations, Clean Sound, Deep/Hard Hitting Bass.. even @ low volumes! According to me, atleast 60% of road noise is also blocked off! I still need to install the hoodliner.. no time!! Dynamat Xtreme seems heavy though, in the box, but once its installed.. no worries! & for the Price, I'd recommend anyone with a car to blindly get this!! cheers!
I read all the reviews and found all the positive reviews accurate. here's the bottom line as we found our topper after two trips between Fla and NC:
1. withstood southeastern rainstorm. have to keep zipper away from front as instructed...people who claim to have wet items.
2. very reasonable. one must consider you will lose between 2 to 5 mpg whether due to weight or drag.
3. very roomy. we packed a week's worth of clothes for 2 adults, 1 child, one baby plus tent, bedding, sleeping bag and fold-up chairs with room to spare!!! Before that, we inputted 3 dressers of clothes in it-- with the help of space saving bags and then some!
4. My wife loaded the topper and secured it on top of the 2002 Toyo Sienna, with only the help from the conveniently attached instructions, in 30 minutes.
5. We needed no add'l luggage rack modification for our 2002 Toyo Sienna.
6. My wife easily hadled the vehicle on I-95 thru the Ga plains at 75mph. Yes, Savannah copper, we got away with speeding in ur county! na na nee boo boo... maybe next time, Roscoe!
I've never submitted an Amazon review on any product before, but this one triggered a response. They raised the price of this heated cushion $5 right before I ordered it (grrr....), and I almost didn't buy. I am so glad I went ahead, however.
This thing is absolutely wonderful! Not only is it a heated cushion, but its massage features alone are worth the price. My office is a bit cool, and this cushion adds just the right amount of warmth. I save on heating costs, and get a massage to boot! BUY THIS CUSHION! You won't be disappointed.
(I have no affiliation with anybody associated with this cushion; I'm just a happy purchaser.)
OK DEFINITE BUY! It's relatively cheap, VERY useful. I actually charge my digital camera and iPod together all the time....I use it for my iPod downstairs in my bedroom (no computer in my room) so I can plug it into the speakers and let it play WHILE IT CHARGES!! That's a big plus!
I'm currently in Brazil (again) and just got done charging my camera with it. It's very lightweight, the metal prongs (plug) itself folds into the white body so it's not sticking out poking things. The piece is solid, doesn't feel like some chargers I've had (like cell chargers) that if you squeeze them or push them in too tight they'll fall apart.
I've had this product several months already and definitely am 100% happy that I bought it. No need for something more expensive: GO WITH THIS ONE!
